Explore expert technics and stunning visuals to elevate your underwater photography
Welcome to my divelog, which also serves as a showcase for some of my favorite images. Perhaps a meeting with legendary Jacques-Yves Cousteau in 1988 played major role in my interest to underwater world. I have been diving and photographing since 1998, and over the years, I have accumulated a vast collection of pictures. Eventually, I decided to create a single platform where I can share what I consider my favorite images. Selecting the best photos from thousands has been quite challenging. To organize this collection, I have divided all pictures into three libraries: PORTFOLIO, TRAVEL and COLLECTION. Each photo I choose represents just a fraction of the many I'd like to share.
The purpose of this site is to present I have seen over decades and to establish a representative portfolio or catalog of the photographs I've taken while diving in various locations.
My selection focuses primarily on macro photography because it seems everyone enjoys images of the macro world. Additionally, I have dedicated a significant portion of my life to studying and photographing these small, magnificent creatures.
For those interested in my occasional diving trips and viewing my pictures, please check the TRAVEL page, which will be regularly updated like a blog. Fortunately, you won't find social media links on this site, as I spend very little time on social media.
"From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free."
